Childs pose with a twist – Find length & stillness in this balasana yoga pose

≤15 min. As you lengthen the side body in this practice, you will notice how much deeper you can go in a twist. It takes time, and some props -- have blocks, a blanket, possibly towels or pillows to support your head, knees and ankles to be in the pose for an extended time. Childs pose is a great "go to" to start your yoga practice, to bring your awareness inward. Your upper chest area will feel open and expanded and is a great way to prepare for pranayama.
