SI joint and low back yoga practice

≤45 min. Muscular imbalance in the pelvic area - e.g., when one side of the body is stronger or more flexible than the other can often result in discomfort in the SI joint and lumbar spine. To support stable yet mobile joints for the SI joints this practice brings an awareness of alignment in the pelvis and muscles that support the area - including hip flexors and quadratus lumborum. To work on stability in the SI area, be sure to revisit this practice several times to build both stability and mobility. Have your yoga blocks, a towel or blanket and strap available
