Yoga for overall strength: a sequence for Rose Marie

≤45 min. When Rose Marie was offered the "gift" of a yoga practice for her birthday, she said that she wanted to know more poses that she could do for overall functional strength. Rose Marie noted that the only pose that came to mind to build strength was plank pose -- and yet she knew there were so many more possibilities. This practice includes several of those possibilities and includes a special bonus -- poses that will give you rotational strength. Salabhasana, a version of vasisthasana (side plank), lunges with twists, utkatasana, variations on supta padangustasana and many more all feature strengthening attributes.
